Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join an established finance team within an FMCG firm. This role is ideal for someone currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis while developing your technical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilites

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings.
• Assist with VAT returns, tax computations, and statutory reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Stay up to date with accounting standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Previous experience in transactional accounts
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
