Accounts Assistant

Liverpool City Centre £25,000 to £30,000

Responsibilites

  • Posting purchase ledger invoices
  • Raising sales ledger invoices
  • Posting bank transactions and assisting in reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Compiling supplier payment runs for processing
  • Investigate variances or queries
  • Assist in loading of ad-hoc payments to bank accounts
  • Support the Finance team in other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Assist in producing monthly company management accounts

Experience

  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Organised and adaptable with a strong work ethic
  • Experience of processing invoices
  • Competent and experienced in the use of MS Excel (including the use of lookups, pivot tables etc.).
  • Looking to study AAT Foundation Diploma in Accounting and Business
